Fitness Learning Goals
Learning Goals will be posted throughout the semester to reflect where the students' learning is progressing.
Learning Goal #1
By the end of the semester, students will demonstrate an understanding of what it means to be physically fit.
a. By the end of the first week, students will identify the 5 health related fitness components and describe the benefits of each component and their relationship to active living (as an exit card/jigsaw activity);
b. By the end of the second week, students will create a fitness-related SMART goal using fitness test results and a specific FITT action plan to help achieve their goals outside of class.
